Coke ads archive-- A selection of ads from the Library of Congress. The "Hilltop" add is the jingle mentioned on the gender handout.

New Coke ads-- From the official Coke site. "Hilltop" is here too. Check out the international ads too and notice how the message is the same no matter the language.

Old Coke print ads-- A few print ads from the 1950's. The style of the ads has changed, but the message is still the same.

Pepsi-- Beyoncé is here with some other ads. My favourite is "Easy Rider". You can also link to ads for other Pepsi products from here.

7up-- Unfortunately the great old ads aren't here, but the new ones with "that 7Up guy" are.

Apple Switch ads-- Check out the Japanese ones too. Different language, but even if you don't speak it you can probably tell what they're talking about by their facial expressions and tone of voice. (Hint: They don't like PC's.)

Classic Apple ads (including 1984)-- I admit, I don't like Apple computers, but I LOVE their ads. This site even includes some spoofs of their ads.

1984 Mac ad insert-- "hello" This was the big ad that introduced the US to the Mac and its fabulous qualities. Make sure you look at the pics of the IBM computer. Computers have come a long way in 20 years.

Michael Jordan ads-- Some of these don't work, but they're interesting. Notice how even though he's advertising different products, the messages are similar.

adeater-- A huge collection of ads from all over the world. Go to the film library and search by country or product. If you do a search for 'soda', you'll find all the pop ads we looked at in class.

Cell Phone ads-- Most of these aren't in English, and non of the Samsung links work, but the ads that do work are interesting.
